For one of the fastest-growing trendy fashion brands within the Netherlands, we are looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner. Do you have a big passion for fashion and a strong analytical sense? Tasks & responsibilities of the Merchandise Planner:

  • You work closely with the buying- and production team
  • You are responsible for turnover and production planning as well as the numbers that drive the collections
  • You use sales and market figures to determine collection size, pieces per product group and pricing. You will be responsible for the margin
  • You use your expertise and analysis to advise the buying and production team, to work towards company goals
  • You are responsible for creating ‘demand plans’ (you create a forecast for the expected demand)
  • You monitor stock and sales balance based on the daily sales figures
  • You work on internal processes that aim for efficiency within the Merchandise/Planning department
  • You work closely with the buyers, to assure they have the right data to work with. You monitor buying budget versus sales figures

You report to the Head of Buying, you will be assisting in educating junior team members and will have 1 merchandise planner reporting to you

Job Criteria Senior Merchandise Planner

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience within the Merchandising/planning field in fashion (preferably private label production)
  • HBO degree
  • You have a winners mentality and you are ambitious
  • You have an eye for detail, you are stress-proof and value structure
  • You have strong analytical skills and you are result driven
  • You have a fulltime availability (38h at least 4 days a week)
  • Working hours are standard office hours 9 am - 5:30 pm
