In this role as Sales Manager Safety Footwear you will be the Brand Ambassador for the NL region, responsible for developing the turnover in respect with the brands (safety footwear) values. This means you will be in charge in selling the brands (safety footwear) products to a strong portfolio of customers via outside sales activities. A brand builder is what we are looking for! You are able to create brand awareness and setting up commercial deals and find the right doors that fit with the DNA of these brands. Interested? Read the following!
Tasks and responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
• Analyse in each store the brand exposure
• Ensure a maximum brand visibility (on shelves, in windows)
• Ensure store staff involvement with the brand
• In relation with the customer service: follow up the stores potential issues
• Define a prospection plan on the area managed
• Weekly follow up on the prospection plan
• Provide pre-season targets per account
• Plan the sales meeting
• (Story telling/seasonal categories to push)
• Take the orders
• Follow up the deliveries
This is a new role within this company, you will report directly to the Commercial Director.
Job Criteria Sales Manager Safety Footwear NL
- Strong commercial state of mind
- Product sensitivity
- Good knowledge of footwear network
- Significant experience in the same kind of job with proven result and good references
- Bachelor Degree
- Strong level of English and Dutch, preferably also some knowledge of French is a plus not a must
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Structured / accurate / positive / willing / start up state of mind
- Reliable / culturally aware / strong people knowledge / assertive / resourceful
- No 9-5 mentality
