Product Manager

Do you have 3-5 years of experience in production and purchasing within Fashion and are you commercially minded? Then we are looking for you! In this role of Product Manager, you are mainly involved in the production and operational purchasing, and you are part of a team of 9 people. You are the linchpin between purchasing and the design department. You have a keen eye for the best quality & fit and of course, you have good commercial insight. You like to work in a dynamic environment and you know how to keep your head cool when necessary. You are that enterprising type who shows a lot of initiative and can work independently (after a good training period). Tasks and responsibilities of the Product Manager:

• Supervising own collections and private label collections from the sourcing-development-production process to delivery
• Preparation of style sheets in collaboration with the styling team
• Checking and reviewing fit samples and pre-production samples and communicating comments about this to suppliers
• Responsible for the administrative part of the development and production, including monitoring the entry of all samples
• Creation of item cards and order forms
• Ensuring the desired production quality and, if necessary, making commercial decisions
• Checking complaints and giving feedback
• Conduct an insightful and efficient administration and timely handling of the above activities within the deadlines of the planning
• Maintaining good relationships with suppliers

In this role, you report directly to the Head of Production

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or working experience at the same level
• You have gained at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• You are independent, proactive and solution-oriented
• You have knowledge of sizepecs and fitting
• You have excellent knowledge of the Dutch or English language in word and writing
• You are service-oriented, and decisive and can function well within a hectic and dynamic environment
• You are accurate and a go-getter with a "hands-on" mentality
• Creativity is appreciated
• You are a professional with Excel, Outlook, and Word
