Tasks and responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Collaborate with leadership team to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support them
  • Develop and implement a people strategy
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, conflict resolution, sickness, and employee development
  • Make sure they have the strategy to attract top talent, manage the hiring process, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring process
  • Manage performance evaluation cycles, coach managers on giving constructive feedback, and support the development of individual and team performance improvement plans
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity
  • Identify training needs, initiate learning activities, and facilitate workshops to enhance employee skills and capabilities
  • Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages that attract and retain talent
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making to support organizational goals
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Stay updated on HR trends, regulations, and best practices in the e-commerce industry, and actively contribute to the enhancement of HR processes and initiatives
  • Create and manage a yearly HR budget
  • Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, and other business transformations, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Coach and manage the HR advisor and intern (2 fte) and facilities team (3 fte)

In this role you report directly to the CFO but you work closely together with a lot of stakeholders and the CEO as well

Job Criteria HR Manager

  • A completed HBO/WO education
  • At least 6 years of experience as an all-round HR Business Partner or HR Lead
  • Experience with HR for a warehouse
  • Experience with AFAS
  • Knowledge of Dutch HR regulations and legislation
  • Good communication in Dutch and English
  • Structured way of working with an eye for detail
  • Scale-up mindset; you have a strong drive to make things better
  • You are available 24 - 40 hour
  • Note: if you are a senior, 3 days or 4 will also be an option
