Job Description F&B Manager

Passionate about Food Retail? As a Food & Beverage Manager of Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet you will plan and develop the Food and Beverage activities to increase customer experience in the Centre. You are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day to day management of restaurant partners of the centre to achieve set sales targets, food strategy and provide an excellent customer experience. Through developing excellent relationships with the brands that are conducive to maximising sales, marketing and business opportunities within the Centre. Key Responsibilities of the F&B Manager:

  • Maintaining and developing personal knowledge and expertise to provide guidance to restaurant partners and enhance service and profitability
  • Hold specific F&B meetings with F&B operations in the Centre
  • Responsible for accurate and timely management information, with supporting analysis, through weekly reporting to the Retail Director
  • Liaising effectively with the Leasing and Operating teams in providing the support needed to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction, compliance with all legal and health requirements and successful operational coordination
  • Together with Marketing and VM work on and implement next steps regarding customer journey and
    experience
  • Responsible for reviewing and defining category matrix for the Centre with the F&B consultants
  • Bring local knowledge of the best operators to bring to the table informing market knowledge
  • Work closely with Retail Director to assess specific F&B training needs and roll them out
  • Coordinating and manage the team to deliver programmes and activities to achieve optimum; inventory levels and merchandise selection at all times
  • Providing input to implement the Centre’s food strategy through analysis of food trends, customer behaviours and key seasonal dates
  • Promoting Food and Beverage with Digital and Marketing to ensure food is prominent in all digital, print and social media. Also promoting the Centre’s food position within the local community
  • Creating a timely pop up strategy to ensure animation and activity through the Centres and share best practices with other food champions in other Centres and

In this role you report directly to the Retail Director

Job Criteria F&B Manager

  • At least 5+ years of proven experience of a managerial role within food catering or food retail, preferably a recognised best in class operator, or in hospitality driven enviroments
  • Developed analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude
  • Good Influencing skills and good decision-making capabilities
  • An experienced People Manager, who likes to be present on the floor
  • Strong leadership and team building skills with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about the food industry & trends
  • Ability to interact and liaise across all levels of the business
  • Experience as a trainer is an added value and international experience is an asset
  • Health & safety knowledge is useful
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
