We are looking for an amazing Counter Store Manager for Le Labo in Amsterdam. This cosmetic brand is growing and expanding and it would like to adapt and scale its internal organization accordingly. Tasks and responsibilities of the Counter Store Manager:

  • HR/Accounting: Manage the hiring of the team, with the assistance of the LL Europe team
  • Train/supervise store teams
  • Provide LL Europe team payroll information, including wages, commissions, bonuses, hours, holidays, and sick time, in order for pay slips to be processed
  • Stock Management: Prepare forecast of stock needs
  • Manage stock levels, including completing accurate and timely stock-takes
  • Oversee all purchase order preparation and billing with the assistance of LL Europe
  • Order necessary store supplies, including lab, cleaning, office, etc
  • Counter Management: Provide daily and weekly sales updates and comprehensive monthly sales reports
  • Implement new launches (training, merchandising)
  • Team productivity, including tracking web orders
  • Business Development: Act as a local brand ambassador and help develop Le Labo; i.e. identify new business opportunities, create innovative incentives, develop brand awareness
  • Monitor and analyze event/incentive performance
  • Identify co-branding opportunities; connect with hotels, restaurants, etc. to seek business opportunities
  • Clients interactions & Customer service: Customer service: Ensuring a welcoming environment for the client at the counter and sharing knowledge on the art of fine perfumery
  • Compounding perfumes, labeling, and boxing the products.
  • Counter maintenance & Merchandising

The Counter manager reports to the Retail Area manager

  • Retail Management experience
  • Driven by sales, performances, and commercial success
  • Very proactive
  • Hands-on and can-do approach on everything/ roll up your sleeve attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Multi-tasker
  • a “personality” with the right sensitivity and who will be eager to contribute to our mission.
  • At the very minimum: 3 years of Retail experience on the field An experience in a department store environment would be a plus
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) and classical POS system
